These Terms explain the purchase and use of THIS TIME, ME. Please read them before purchasing or using the product.

Effective 10 August 2026

1. Who provides THIS TIME, ME

THIS TIME, ME is operated and sold by OLE BIZ EMPIRE (PTY) LTD, trading as ShayGold Digital (“we”, “us” or “our”). THIS TIME, ME remains the customer-facing product and brand.

Questions about these Terms may be sent to support@thistime-me.com.

2. What the product is

THIS TIME, ME is a private, self-guided wellbeing and reflection product for adults navigating the period after a relationship ends. It offers guided reflections, practical tools, journaling, reading and gentle structure to support personal reflection.

Wellbeing disclaimer

THIS TIME, ME is not therapy, medical care, psychological treatment, crisis support, a diagnostic service or a substitute for professional care. It does not promise that anyone will heal within a fixed period.

3. Purchase and access

The current Founding Access offer is US$49 as a one-time payment. Your purchase provides personal access to the THIS TIME, ME digital product under the offer displayed at checkout. It is not a recurring subscription.

By completing the purchase, you request that digital access begin as soon as the purchase and email are verified. If applicable law requires additional consent for immediate performance or provides a right that cannot be waived, that legal requirement or right continues to apply.

You must use the same email address you entered at checkout when signing in at app.thistime-me.com. Access is verified by an emailed code. You are responsible for entering an accurate email address and keeping access to that email account.

The product, content and branding remain ours or our licensors’. Your purchase gives you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the product. It does not transfer ownership of the product or its content to you.

4. Acceptable use

Please use THIS TIME, ME lawfully and for your own personal use. You may not:

  • share or sell access credentials, verification codes or access rights;
  • copy, republish, resell or commercially distribute the product or its content without written permission;
  • attempt to bypass, disable, probe or interfere with access controls or security measures;
  • use automated tools to scrape, extract or reproduce the product; or
  • use the service in a way that harms the product, other users or our systems.

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to investigate or stop misuse. Where practical and lawful, we will try to give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

5. Availability and changes

We aim to keep THIS TIME, ME available, but access may occasionally be interrupted by maintenance, updates, provider outages or technical issues. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

We may make reasonable updates to improve, maintain or protect the product. We will not knowingly remove mandatory consumer rights or materially misdescribe what a customer has purchased.

6. Your locally stored information

Under the current product implementation, supported private app content—including journal entries, reflections, voice recordings, progress, favourites and appearance preferences—is stored locally in the browser on the device you use. It does not automatically sync between devices.

Changing device or browser, clearing website data, using private browsing, resetting the app, or losing access to a device may remove local information. You are responsible for using the available export or backup tools for information you wish to retain. Account and access records are handled separately as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Refunds and consumer rights

Digital purchases are generally final once access has been activated, subject always to rights and remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Access problems, duplicate charges and material failures are handled under our Refund / Digital Product Policy.

8. Responsibility and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed, or for loss caused by events outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or removes any mandatory right or remedy available under applicable consumer or data-protection law.

9. Ending access

You may stop using THIS TIME, ME at any time. We may suspend or end access where there is a material breach of these Terms, unlawful use, fraud, or a genuine security risk. Any action we take will remain subject to mandatory consumer rights and applicable law.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. This does not remove any mandatory rights that apply to you because of where you live or because of applicable consumer law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the product, our practices or the law changes. The effective date at the top will show when the current version began. Changes will not retrospectively remove rights already accrued under applicable law.

You can save or print a copy of these Terms for your records. Our Privacy Policy and Refund / Digital Product Policy also form part of the information provided before purchase.
